What is your favorite subject capture in photography? Why?
- My favorite subject to capture in photography is sports and still captured images that involve movement. They show an everyday action step by step rather than it all starting and ending so quickly. It gives time to look around and see what the surroundings are like and the expressions of everyone and everything during this time.
- My favorite lens/camera setting is shutter speed and aperture. I love a single focal point in a photo along with the still and clear capture of a moving person or object.
- I love capturing the moments I experience in life and being able to look at them repeatedly reliving the moments after they already occurred.
- All photos more or less could end up being "good photos" just as long as they capture a moment in time and tell a story. The story will reveal where the person was, probably what they were doing, and even when the picture was taken. Bad photos typically aren't a thing unless you want them to be.
- In my work the only pattern is movement. I wanted to capture movement using the criteria necessary to possibly end up being in a magazine or a newspaper. The movement tells a story and shows what emotion each athlete is enduring during this time.
- I typically do what I was taught when it comes to photography because the way I was taught is more or less the correct way. When using the camera and the techniques correctly everything should work out in the end. This makes the photo perfect and soon exactly how you pictured it to be.
